What Happens When My Root Chakra Opens?

Your Root Chakra holds a lot of energy. Some people may feel after a few hours or the next day a little fogginess in your body or mind.

These feelings will quickly subside, usually in 24 hours or less, replaced with slight euphoria.

This may happen as you balance your chakras due to the release years worth of built up energy.

It depends on how much insecurity has been built up in your Root Chakra, this generally occurs when meditating on your Root.

Feelings of being more centered

This is hard to explain unless you’ve experienced, but you may feel a lightness or space in and around the area of your Root Chakra. this feeling is wonderful, it’s hard to describe because while it feels great, it also feels like nothing.

Warm and Tingling

Probably the most common symptom of the Chakra opening is a warm, soothing, tingling sensation around the Root Chakra area.

Sometimes you may feel very light electrical like zaps. As this energy opens more and grows this sensation may move upward to the base of your skull and over your Crown Chakra.
